I’m Jess.

I like to read books. Trouble is, I can’t help speed-reading. So, I’ve set up this blog to help me take stock and think about the words I’m reading.

Partly because I like having a good old think. Partly because I’m a copywriter, and to write good words, I need to read good words – and understand what makes them work. And partly because I’d like to write my own novel one day, and I hope this all serves as some kind of inspiration/motivation.

Hopefully you like what I’ve got to say. And I won’t be offended if you don’t.
